Here are the Blog topics that I have planned on reading this semester. I am very excited to get into the brer rabbit tales along with the Alice in Wonderland tales. I think once I get into this class and figure out how to work through it I will thoroughly enjoy this class.

Tech Tips "Google Analytics"

This past summer I had the opportunity to accept an internship with a pet product distribution company in Indiana. I worked in the marketing department there and while I was there I had the opportunity to work with the tool Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a tool that can measure all kinds of data from individuals who visit your website. Google Analytics was able to gather geographical information along with demographic information. One of the most interesting things that I saw while working there was that when someone visited our website I could log on to the program and look up where that person is from, their gender, their age, and what else they searched for on the internet. This is due to websites using cookies to collect data. Anytime you visit a new website there is something collecting your information and storing it to better target advertizements towards you.
