The Fox and the Horse There once was an old horse who had done all of the work it could have for its master. He had grown too old to make use for himself so his master took him aside and said, "I have no use for you any longer, you are worn out. I will no longer care for you. I am casting you away and the only way you would be able to return is if you come back stronger than a lion" The horse then went out and started moping through the woods. The old horse knew that he could never be as strong as a lion so he made his way looking for what little food and shelter he could find. As the horse was walking along a fox saw him. He saw that the horse was sad so he thought it best to try and fix what was wrong. The fox went up to the horse and asked why he was so sad. The Singing Bone Epilogue After the evil son had been found out they decided to give him a proper punishment. For the crime of killing his own brother and claiming a reward that wasn't his the evil brother was tied to a large stone and thrown into the ocean to drown. The good brother was then taken out from under the bridge and given a proper burial in the king's graveyard. The bone that was chiseled into a mouthpiece, however, stayed in the horn owned by the man who found it. After all of the wrongs were corrected the horn played usually and the bone sang no more. Life finally seemed to be balanced in the kingdom, until it wasn't. When the king threw the evil brother in the lake he neglected to think about the power of his bones. If his brother's bone had the ability to sing, the other brother's bones must have the power to accomplish something. The king realized this after he had thrown him in the lake, and at that point, it was too late. The king shrugge...

Alice looking down the hole Alice followed the rabbit until she came to a hole. She saw the rabbit jump down the hole and contemplated going after him or not. She looked back at her sister reading on the hillside and thought to herself, "There is no way I am going back to be that bored." So she got down on her hands and knees and peered into the rabbit hole to see what she could find.  The hole was very dark so she squinted to see if she could see a clearer picture. She still couldn't see anything so she leaned in to see if that would clear up her vision. Once she started to lean the ground started to crumble out from under her. She started to push back to leave the hole but the ground just started to crumble more. The Discovery of Horsemen One day the Ponca Indian tribe was traveling along a river. This trek had been longer than any of their previous adventures and they had been on. Along their trek, they came to a low point in the river where they decided it would be easy to cross this point. The Ponca Indians had never crossed the river and because they were now so far from home they had no clue what could be on the other side. They crossed the river on foot with ease which is an accomplishment that they had never been able to accomplish before. They came up over the crest of the bank curious about what they would see. Nothing seemed any different than what they were familiar with back home except for one thing. Off in the distance, there were large figures standing in the tall grass. These figures looked like large dogs with long faces, and they looked like they had men on top of them. Dwane "The Rock" Johnson A long long time ago in a land far far away there was a kingdom in the middle of the great sea. This kingdom was an island and on that island, there was the Mountain of Flowers and fruits. This land was holy and plentiful, it was sacred land. At the very top of the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits, there was a high rock that stood taller than all of the rest. This rock was mystical due to the power it heald. It would take in energy from all of the life surrounding it and store it within its core. One day when the rock became so packed full of energy that it burst. Bush Rat One day the Bat and the Bush Rat were eating together in a field. They both made soup at their homes and brought it to eat with each other. The Rat asked if he could try the Bats soup and he did. The Rat exclaimed, "Wow! this soup is so good, it tastes so sweet and savory." The Rat asked the bat how in the world he made his soup so good. The Bat, knowing he could pull one over the rat, exclaimed, "You see Rat, I simply boil myself in the broth of the soup before I make it. My flesh sweetens it up." Billy Vessels Authors Note: This was my own rendition on the first reading of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. There once was a football player named Al. He had just graduated high school and was being recruited by all of the top schools. He finally found himself at the University of Oklahoma playing Wide Reciever. Although Al was a great High School player, he started to not perform well at the collegiate level. He started dropping passes, he couldn't keep up with his routes, and worst of all there were two other wide receivers who were outperforming him. Hole in Roof Authors Note: This is a retelling of the  Followers of Jesus  Story from the perspective of an onlooker. I didn't know much about this Jesus Guy everyone was so crazy about. I am just a regular Shepard. I tend to my flock, come into town to get a meal, maybe buy some garb, nothing exciting. But today was a different day from the moment I left my home. I could see the commotion in town from far away, crowds were gathered all around. I couldn't make the connection to what they were so concerned about until I got closer.
