Week 8 Comments and Feedback

The comments and criticism I have received on my blog posts are very helpful. Up until this blog post I hadn't taken much time to look at the feedback I was getting but now I see that these comments are very helpful. I have gotten feedback on the way I write and how I can improve it as well as feedback on what I am doing well and how I should continue to do that in future work.

I feel like the feedback I am giving my classmates is constructive feedback as well. When I read amazing content, instead of saying "That was good!" I'll say "Here is what I loved about ___." I think that this provides constructive feedback in the way that it is specific. They know exactly what I think they are doing well so they can continue to do that in future projects.

I am also very interested in reading other people's blogs and storybook projects. For example, this past week i had the opportunity to read one of my classmates Cate's storybook. It was one of the most interesting things I had ever read and I loved being able to let her know directly what I liked about it. This class is great about promoting collaboration between classmates and through this open collaboration I have been able to improve my writing.

Reading Notes "The Stone Ape"

The Stone Ape and the Waterfall Once there was a large stone at the top of a massive mountain. This stone was special and it could absorb all of the energy from the heavens and the earth. This supernatural stone was magnificent and everyone who viewed it was in awe. One day, the stone had finally taken in so much energy that it couldn't take any more. The stone burst into pieces and out of the explosion of rock came an egg. This egg was made of stone as well and once the egg was ready it hatched just like the stone before it had.
